about

I’ve always loved soundtracks and tend to write music based on daydreams, you know when you find yourself unintentionally humming a melody, the origins of which is sometimes obvious, sometimes not. I’m pretty sure this piece was inspired by the soundtrack to an old horror movie by Roman Polanski called Rosemary’s Baby. It’s a beautiful creepy lullaby in 3 4 time as is ‘Dream in Film’. When Ross McLennan added his wild searching bowed double bass to this track, drenched with reverb, it became something even more sublime.
